2004 Pontiac Sunfire
Pontiac Sunfire made its drastic change in appearance in 2003. Changes in 2004
are minimal. But with its new features for 2004, Sunfire is both affordable and
exhilarating. 2004 Pontiac Sunfire comes in three basic models, the Pontiac Sunfire
base coupe 1SA, coupe 1SB and coup 1SC. Pontiac simplify its nomenclature, dumping
the old SE and GT names for new alphanumeric. New for the 2004 Pontiac Sunfire
are its exterior colors (Rally Yellow and Fusion Orange Metallic), CD/MP3 player
with equalizer and Radio Data System, single chrome exhaust-outlet option, and
new Graphite ridge and Taupe ridge interiors. All 2004 Pontiac Sunfire models
come standard with a peppy 2.2 liter, 16 valve, DOHC 4 cylinder engine that delivers
140 horsepower at 5,600 rpm and 150 pounds-per-foot of torque at 4,000 rpm.

The vehicles also come with standard 4-speed automatic transmission, power front-disc
brakes, dual-outlet stainless steel exhaust, and corrosion protection featuring
2-sided galvanized steel body panels. Safety is also a big issue with the 2004
Pontiac Sunfire. With its sophisticated engine management and computer programming,
the car offers available ABS and Enhanced Traction Systems that help provide solid
stops and enhanced control in challenging conditions. The PASSLock theft-deterrent
system disables the vehicle's fuel system if the proper key is not used. Finally,
with driver and front passenger airbags, 3-point safety belts for all seating
positions and automatic power door locks, you couldn't be much safer than you
are in a 2004 Pontiac Sunfire.
