Pontiac Sunfire Recall

With the Pontiac Sunfire aging, drawbacks and downsides were discovered. Here
are some of the recalls recorded in the Sunfire's 'autobiography': Safety Recalls:
steering gear lower pinion bearing, ignition switch fire hazard, ignition circuit
modification, inadvertent airbag deployment, hazard lamps may not function properly,
etc.; Emission Recalls: corrosion/moisture entering the PCM, MIL on-engine runs
rough, fuel injector vapor leak, fuel injector leak-encapsulant, etc. Recalls
are being recorded to evaluate the vehicles quality as it ages. It is more helpful
to the car manufacturer than to anyone else. Recalls could tell manufacturers
what are the problems of their products and helps them improve it. They could
even learn from recalls when to replace what in the vehicle. On the other hand,
recalls' advantage to consumers is it helps them decide which vehicle to buy and
which should not.
